The Fires of Pompeii pushed back to 6.45

The BBC Press Office has confirmed that The Fires of Pompeii will air at 6.45pm, rather than the previously scheduled 6.15pm.

It's thought that the sudden change is due to the string of complaints that the BBC recieved for placing the new series of Doctor Who in a time slot deemed too early. It wasn't just fans who thought this, the show's very own executive producer, Russell T Davies, admitted he wasn't very happy about it either!

But now it seems the nagging has paid off with the second episode being pushed back half an hour.

The Fires of Pompeii will air Saturday April 12th at 6.45pm on BBC One.Please comment
